North Texas Storms Back to Capture 1991 Girls Title
For North Texas, their championship match with New Jersey in the 1991 Girls division of the 2008 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) National Championships truly was déjà vu all over again. Yesterday, they opened play against Minnesota and trailed 1-0 at the break. But, in the second half, they scored seven times in a 7-1 win.

 
US Youth Soccer Administrator of the Year Named
The recipient of the 2007 US Youth Soccer Administrator of the Year was announced tonight at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the 2008 US Youth Soccer adidas Workshop at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, in Pittsburgh. The national Administrator of the Year award winner is Evelyn Swissler, from North Texas.

 
US Youth Soccer Regional Championships Set for 2008
US Youth Soccer is proud to announce the dates and locations for the 2008 US Youth Soccer Regional Championships, the second leg of the US Youth Soccer National Championships Series, the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament. After another banner year in 2007, the regional tournaments will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii; Portland, Maine; Raleigh and Wilson, N.C. and Rockford, Ill.
