We went sightseeing in Barcelona on Monday the 17th

On Tuesday the 18th we visited Montserrat, an incredible church and small
sightseeing area on top of a large mountain that over looked all of
Barcelona.

Wednesday the 19th we visited NOU CAMP which is home to Barcelona FC, we
were able to take a tour of the stadium including museum of sports history,
press area, locker rooms, private team chapels for the players to use before
games, sidelines and go on the field. So much history to absorb, all of
Barcelona's sports teams wear the same uniforms so if its Futsal, Basketball
or Soccer they all wear the same Red and Blue stripes.  Their venue houses
all the sports in one location along with a large official sports/uniform
store.

On Sunday March 23rd we were able to go to a game at NOU CAMP and watch
Barcelona play Valladolid, this experience was unforgettable by all.  We
were able to feel the energy of the fans and a stadium that holds 98,800  to
watch Henry  and others take a victory over Valladolid 4-1.  The shear
history of the stadium made you feel like you were someplace special, the
stadium was build in 1956 and has aged very well.

We thank USYSA and Region III ODP for the experience and the memories that
will be with us for the rest of our lives.
